The latest numbers from the Iowa Department of Public Health show 45 more Iowans have died from COVID-19 and 947 new cases have been reported.
The number of new positive COVID-19 tests reported for the time period brings the total number of positive tests up to 317,381.
The data shows that so far there have been 4,577 total deaths from the coronavirus in the state. Of those deaths, 1,888 were residents of long term care facilities.
