Minnesota health officials reported on Thursday 1,335 new cases of the coronavirus and 16 more deaths.
According to the Minnesota Department of Health, 6,140 people have died because of the virus. A total of 3,900 of those deaths have occurred in long term care facilities.
A total of 458,633 cases have been confirmed in Minnesota since the pandemic began last year. Of those, 442,600 people no longer need to self isolate.
