Minnesota health officials reported on Wednesday 851 new cases of the coronavirus and 18 more deaths.
According to the Minnesota Department of Health, 6,124 people have died because of the virus. A total of 3,887 of those deaths have occurred in long term care facilities.
A total of 457,317 cases have been confirmed in the Minnesota since the pandemic began last year. Of those 441,740 people no longer need to self isolate.
