Minnesota lost jobs in December for the second straight month. December’s unemployment rate dropped slightly to 4.4% from 4.5% in November.
The Department of Employment and Economic Development says the slight dip was due to people leaving the labor force, at least temporarily and happened as Minnesota lost 49,800 jobs in December.
