Winnebago Council Approves Levy for 2021 and Bond Refunding

At their meeting this week, the Winnebago City Council approved the tax levy for the city for 2021.  The levy increase was just over $36,000 or an increase of 4.99%.

 

Council members also approved a bond refunding, which will save the city approximately $39,000 over the life of the bonds.

 

The Council also approved several items for the year 2021, including Council meeting dates, committee assignments and polling locations for next year’s elections.

 

This week’s meeting was the last meeting for Mayor Jeremiah Schutt and Council Member Rick Johnson.  The next regular meeting of the Winnebago City Council is scheduled for Tuesday, January 12th.
