The Minnesota Department of Health reported Friday 5,371 new confirmed positive cases of COVID-19, the total number of cases in Minnesota is 338,973.
There have been 61 additional deaths associated with COVID-19, putting the state’s death total at 3,845. Deaths among cases that resided in long term care or assisted living facilities increased to 2,559.
At total of 293,151 people have recovered statewide and no longer require isolation.
