The Faribault County Board of Commissioners received updates on several road construction projects from County Engineer April Wellman at their meeting Tuesday.
In Pilot Grove, crews continue working on box culvert replacements, with a bypass ditch installed to help get the culverts in place. Earlier wet conditions have delayed some culvert replacements and other road projects.
Work is underway on County Road 7, with milling ahead of full depth reclamation. Similar work on County Road 20 is expected to begin next week, weather permitting. Millings from both projects will be hauled to the Bedrock site north of Winnebago for reuse.
The county also plans to repair soft spots on County Road 23 this fall and redo road striping after construction is complete.
Board members also heard about efforts to address dust concerns during road projects and additional bridge work planned for 2027.
