MnDOT Planning Temporary Closure of Highway 22 at the Highway 109 Intersection Starting This Friday

The Minnesota Department of Transportation is planning a temporary closure of Highway 22 at the Highway 109 intersection in Wells beginning Friday.

Weather permitting, Highway 22 will be closed from Friday, October 16^th through Tuesday, October 20^th, to allow construction crews to complete sanitary sewer, water main and storm sewer installations along Highway 109.

During the closure, local access for residents crossing Highway 109 will transition to Sixth Avenue.

Crews are continuing utility installations along Highway 109 between Fourth Avenue and the Highway 22 intersection.  Grading work is also underway between Sixth and Fourth Avenues.
