The American Red Cross is urging donors to roll up their sleeves this month to help maintain a strong blood supply heading into the fall and winter months.
Red Cross officials say all blood types are needed, with donations helping patients locally and across the country.
Several blood drives are scheduled around the area this month.
On October 12th, drives will be held at the Sinn Family Celebration of Life Center in Trimont, St. Paul’s Community Church in Welcome and the Presbyterian Church in Amboy.
A drive is also scheduled on October 19th at Martin Luther High School in Northrop, October 23rd at American Legion Post 36 in Fairmont and on October 26th at Shiloh Lutheran Church in Elmore.
Blue Earth will host two drives, October 28th at Blue Earth Area High School and October 29th at Hope United Methodist Church.
Appointments can be made through the American Red Cross.
