MnDOT Provides Update on Highway 22 and 109 Reconstruction in Wells

MnDOT is providing an update on the Highway 22 and 109 construction project in Wells.

Crews will continue watermain connections and begin storm sewer work from Sixth Avenue to Third Avenue.  Grading crews will also continue sidewalk and driveway preparation, along with grading on Highway 109.

Local access across Highway 109 at Third Avenue will remain open until further notice.

Highway 22 will remain closed while railroad track repairs are completed, with grading and paving to follow, weather permitting.

Residents are also reminded that monthly project meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 1pm at the Wells Community Center.
