Several Items Meet the Approval of the Faribault County Board at Tuesday’s Meeting

The Faribault County Board of Commissioners approved several items during its meeting Tuesday.

Commissioners approved an updated Tax Abatement Policy for new construction, effective September 15^th.  The board also approved a five year contract for CAMAvision software with Vanguard Appraisals, along with an Archive Module Service Contract.

In Economic Development Authority business, commissioners approved an application under the county’s Tax Abatement Policy for new single and multifamily housing construction.  The board also approved $2500 in Child Care Grant funding toward a window replacement project.

Commissioners also approved several employee training requests, including conferences and meetings involving property records, planning and zoning, GIS and mortgage foreclosure issues.
