Faribault County Public Works is wrapping up several road projects as the construction season winds down.
Work on County State Aid Highways 19 and 23 is now on the punch list, while bridge projects continue.
The Kiester Bridge is expected to reopen soon, while work continues on a bridge along County Road 8.
In Bricelyn, work on County Road 56 is complete, with a final walkthrough held with Bolton and Menk. A final pavement life and some additional curb and gutter work are planned for next year.
The county also revied its hay bale policy, reminding landowners that bales in county road right of ways need to be moved onto private property by October 31st to prevent snow drift and maintenance problems.
Commissioners are also working on guidelines for roadside memorials to address safety concerns while respecting families.
