A two vehicle crash in Freeborn County Tuesday night sent one driver to the hospital with life threatening injuries.
The Minnesota State Patrol says the crash happened around 7:41pm at Highway 13 and 280th Street in Hartland Township.
The State Patrol says a 2010 Audi A-4 was traveling east on 280th Street, while a 2015 Nissan Sentra was traveling south on Highway 13 when the vehicles collided.
The Nissan driver, 32 year old Caleb Lee Sorenson of Albert Lea, suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester.
The Audi driver, 35 year old Stacy Jo Erdner of Wells, suffered non life threatening injuries and was taken to Albert Lea Hospital.
Both drivers were not wearing seat belts and alcohol was not suspected.
The Hartland Fire Department, Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office and Mayo Ambulance assisted at the scene.
