Faribault County Sheriff Scott Adams has announced the start of the Minnesota Sheriffs’ Association’s 2026 Law Enforcement Scholarship Program.
The association will award up to 18 scholarships worth two thousand dollars each to students pursuing law enforcement careers.
Eligible applicants include students enrolled in a mandated POST Skills Program, the second year of a two year law enforcement program, or the third or fourth year of a four year criminal justice program.
The application deadline is November 20th. Application are available at the Faribault County Sheriff’s Office or through the Minnesota Sheriffs’ Association website. Sheriff Adams says the scholarships help support the next generation of law enforcement professionals.
