Faribault County Public Works Director April Wellman provided several construction updates to the Faribault County Board of Commissioners at their meeting on Tuesday.
Wellman says that County Road 19 is essentially complete, with some cleanup remaining before striping. On County Road 23, patching is continuing, followed by striping.
The Kiester Bridge project is wrapping up and is expected to open by the end of the week. Work on the County Road 8 bridge began August 24th, with culver installation underway.
Highway 22 is nearly finished, with striping that began on Monday, August 31st. Work near Bricelyn is complete, following a walkthrough with Bolton and Menk, while the Kiester project should be completed soon.
The county also approved purchasing a 2023 Dodge Ram, previously used by Former Sheriff Mike Gormley, for $35,000, with no additional funds needed.
