Candidate filing has closed for Martin County City and Township Offices ahead of the November 3rd election, with several competitive races on the ballot.
Fairmont’s mayoral race features five candidates: Logan Kelly, Krystaline Krumrey, Nathanael Landsteiner, Jerome Niss and Todd Smith. Ward One council candidates are Bruce Eastlund, Tabitha Johnson and Jay Maynard, while Ward Three candidates include Hollee Klesh, Randy Lubenow and Ed Paschke.
Other mayoral races include John Gibeau and Judith Perkins in Ceylon, Matt Schuster in Granada, Scott Stith and Thomas Wakey in Northrup, Warren Olson in Sherburn, Bruce Borntrager and Casey Carlson in Trimont, Sarah Chambers and Ron Kelley in Truman and Dan Schmidtke in Welcome.
Council candidates include Armin Kronback in Ceylon, Matt Brown, Kenny Felion, Kevin Schleininger and John Schofield in Granada; Bart Johnson and Richard Weber in Northrup; Michael Kautzman and Sarah Kramer in Sherburn; Stephany Feely, Jon Holtz, Justin Lubben, Alyssa Neizgocki and Josh Paulson in Trimont and Lynda Stauter in Welcome.
Township candidates include Gene Shoemaker and Kent Larson in Center Creek Township and Dustin Drager in Waverly Township.
