Faribault County FSA Director Reminds Farmers with Canning Contracts that The Deadline to Submit Those is Close

Faribault County Farmers with canning crops enrolled in the Supplemental Disaster Relief Program have another deadline to keep in mind.

FSA Executive Director Nicki Miranowski says producers who received a recent SDRP letter must submit a copy of their signed canning contract by July 24.  She says only contracts for the specific crops and crop years listed in each producer’s letter are required, even if they grew additional canning crops.

Miranowski also reminds producers that overall sign up for the Supplemental Disaster Relief Program ends August 12^th for those with eligible indemnified or shallow losses.
