A Winnebago couple were two of six people injured in a three vehicle crash Sunday afternoon at the intersection of Highway 22 and Nicollet County Road 1 in Nicollet County.
The Minnesota State Patrol says an 18 year old Minnetrista man, driving a Toyota Corolla, struck a GMC Sierra that was stopped to turn onto County Road 1. The impact pushed the GMC into a southbound Honda Pilot.
The driver of the Honda, 46 year old Erin Joann Roiger of Winnebago, was airlifted to Mayo Clinic Hospital in Rochester with non life threatening injuries. Her passenger, 46 year old David Charles Roiger of Winnebago, was taken to New Ulm Medical Center.
The Toyota driver and his 18 year passenger, along with the 26 year old GMC driver and his 20 year old passenger, all suffered non life threatening injuries and were taken to New Ulm Medical Center.
All six people were wearing seatbelts and alcohol is not believed to have been a factor.
