A Blue Earth woman is facing multiple charges following the execution of a search warrant in the City on May 11th.
According to a criminal complaint filed in Faribault County District Court, 53 year old Laura Esparza has been charged with contributing to the delinquency of a child, receiving stolen property, third degree drug possession, illegal possession and transportation of a firearm and carrying a pistol in public without a permit.
Investigators with the Minnesota River Valley Drug Task Force say they were conducting surveillance on a residence before executing a search warrant targeting a juvenile suspect. Authorities allege Esparza was observed near a vehicle being loaded with bags and a laundry hamper that reportedly contained an AR style rifle. After leaving the residence, Esparza was stopped by law enforcement a short distance away.
During the search, agents reportedly recovered THC vape cartridges, THC concentrate, a digital scale and ammunition.
