The filing period for federal, state and county offices in Minnesota remains open until 5pm on June 2nd.
In Faribault County, two candidates have filed for Sheriff; Christopher Albers and D.J. Bullerman.
In the County Commissioner’s races, Greg Young has filed in District 2, while Dana James Gates, Aaron Kalis and Darrel L. Robertson have filed in District 4.
Cameron Davis had filed for County Attorney and for Soil and Water Supervisor District 5, Bill Anderson has filed.
Those interested in running for county offices may file through June 2nd at the County Auditor Treasurer’s office. The filing fee for county offices is $50.
The primary election is scheduled for Tuesday, August 11th. Filing for City, School District and Township Offices without primaries will open July 14th and close July 28th.
