GHEC School Board Hears Preliminary Plans for Addition to the School Building

Wind Damage and Tornadoes Reported During Storms on Wednesday Night

Storms swept across southern Minnesota Wednesday night, producing high winds and reports of tornadoes. According to reports from the National Weather Service, a tornado was spotted west of New Ulm.  Tornadoes were also reported in Trimont and Storden. MN Senate Passes Second Tax Bill on Wednesday

Some warmer and drier weather for Minnesota farmers yielded 2.6 days suitable for fieldwork during the week ending May 8th, according to the USDA. Fairmont Man Found Dead on Side of The Road in Fairmont

Tuesday morning, at approximately 6:44am, Fairmont Police Officers responded to the 500 block of North Main Street in Fairmont for a welfare check on a male who was reportedly laying alongside the roadway next to a bicycle.
