USDA Says Crop Harvest is Underway in MN & Iowa

Winnebago Man Charged After Allegedly Assaulting a Pregnant Woman in Mankato

A Winnebago man is accused of kicking a pregnant woman’s door, assaulting her and threatening her. Thirty three year old Donald Terrience Thomas III, was charged Thursday with felony counts of 1st degree burglary, domestic assault and threats of violence.  A warrant has been issued for his arrest. Winnebago and UHD Announce Sale of Wbgo Clinic Building to the City

The City of Winnebago and United Hospital District Inc. (UHD) have announced the sale of the Winnebago Clinic building to the City of Winnebago.  Terms of the agreement were completed Tuesday.  The Winnebago Clinic facility had closed in March of 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. MN Unemployment Rate Up Slightly in August, but Remains at Historic Low

Despite Strong Hiring, Iowa’s Unemployment Rate Increased Slightly in August

Iowa’s unemployment rate increased slightly in August by a tenth of a percent, despite strong hiring that brought the state to within 5,500 jobs of its March 2020 pre-pandemic employment level.
