Fort Dodge Woman Injured in Two Vehicle Accident on Saturday Near Delavan

A Fort Dodge woman suffered non life threatening injuries in a two vehicle accident in Faribault County on Saturday.

The State Patrol says the crash happened around 12:30pm at Highway 109 and County Road 13 in Lura Township.  A Chevy Equinox driven by 24 year old Noelle Johnson was southbound on County Road 13 when it collided with an eastbound Chevy Silverado driven by 20 year old Joshua Hoppe of Mapleton.

Johnson was taken to UHD in Blue Earth with non life threatening injuries.  Hoppe was not injured.

The Faribault Count Sheriff’s Office, Delavan Fire Department and EMS assisted at the scene.
