The U.S Small Business Administration is offering disaster assistance to businesses and private nonprofits impacted by excessive rainfall and flooding that occurred from June 13th through August 17th, 2025.
Economic Injury Disaster Loans are available in Faribault, Blue Earth, Freeborn, Martin and Waseca Counties in Minnesota, along with Kossuth and Winnebago Counties in Iowa.
Eligible small businesses, private nonprofits and certain agricultural operations may qualify for working capital loans of up to $2 million. Interest rates are as low as 4%, with terms up to 30 years.
The application deadline is April 26th, 2027. More information is available through the Small Business Administration.
