Mapleton Teen Uninjured in Two Vehicle Crash in Mankato Saturday Morning

A Mapleton teen was involved in a two vehicle crash Saturday morning in Mankato.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, at approximately 11:38am, 18 year old Allie Marie Mersman was driving a Chevrolet Traverse southbound on Highway 22, when it collided with a Nissan Versa traveling eastbound on Highway 83.

Mersman was not injured.  The Nissan driver, 18 year old Bo James Pozenga of Waconia, suffered non life threatening injuries and was taken to MCHS Mankato.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts and alcohol was not suspected.
