Faribault County Public Works Director April Wellman updated commissioners this week on several road and bridge projects across the county.
Wellman reported that reconstruction of County Road 19 between Highway 16 and County Road 109 near Easton is substantially complete, with only a few final punch list items remaining. She also says bridge work east of Kiester is expected to wrap up soon, with paving scheduled later this fall alongside another bridge project.
Other updates included final inspection of the Main Street project in Bricelyn, which has only minor remaining work, along with plans to complete striping on this year’s seal coat projects in September. Crew will also repair a few areas on County Road 23 before striping is finished. Wellman says culver lining projects are also planned to help extend the life of existing infrastructure, while planning continues for the Frost paving project, currently targeted for 2027.
