Martin County Candidate Filings as of Monday, July 20th

Candidate filings continue for municipal offices in Martin County ahead of the November 3^rd General Election.

In Fairmont, Aaron Meier has filed for mayor.  Jay Maynard has filed for the Ward 1 City Council Seat and Randy Lubenow has filed for the Ward 3 Council Seat.

In Trimont, Alyssa Niezogcki has filed for one of two city council seats.

In Welcome, Dan Schmidtke has filed for mayor and Lynda Stauter has filed for one of two city council seats.

No candidates have filed for offices in Ceylon, Dunnell, Granada, Northrop, Sherburn or Truman and no filings have been made for the open township offices in Center Creek Township or Waverly Township.

Candidate filing closes Tuesday, July 28^th.
