An Iowa man was injured Tuesday morning after the semi he was driving rolled into the median on westbound Interstate 90 in Faribault County.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the crashed happened at approximately 6:05am near milepost 125 in Emerald Township.
Authorities say 37 year old Juan Carlos Perez Gomez of Marshalltown was driving a 2018 Freightliner westbound on I-90 when the truck rolled over into the median. The roadway was reported to be wet at the time of the crash.
Perez Gomez was taken by ambulance to United Hospital District in Blue Earth for treatment of non life threatening injuries.
Perez Gomez was wearing his seatbelt and alcohol is not believed to have been a factor.
The Blue Earth Police Department, Faribault County Sheriff’s Office, Blue Earth Fire Department and United Hospital District Ambulance assisted at the scene.
