Two men are facing multiple felony charges after authorities say they burglarized a vacant rural Elmore residence twice in the same day.
Faribault County Deputies first responded to a tripped alarm just before 4am on June 9th and found signs of forced entry. When a second alarm sounded shortly before midnight, deputies returned and found 39 year old Dustin Reinhart of Belview and 42 year old Tyler Stallman of Blue Earth on the property.
Investigators say doors had been forced open, more than $1,000 in damage was done to the home and over $5,000 worth of property had been gathered near an exit, apparently ready to be removed.
Both men are charged with second degree burglary, property damage and theft related offenses. Stallman also faces a fifth degree drug possession charge.
Judge Troy Timmerman ordered both men held pending further court proceedings.
