The latest vital statistics report from the Faribault County Recorder’s Office show the number of births remained unchanged in May compared to a year ago, while deaths and marriage licenses both increased.
According to the report, seven births were recorded in Faribault County during May 2026, matching the total from May 2025.
The number of deaths recorded during the month rose from seven in May 2025 to 11 in May of 2026, an increase of four.
Marriage activity also increased. The Recorder’s office issued six marriage licenses in May, compared with four during the same month last year.
