On Friday, Governor Tim Walz signed a $1.2 billion infrastructure bill that the legislature passed in May.
The bill contains more than $32 million for nine local projects, most of that coming in water infrastructure.
Eagle Lake, Jordan and Lafayette will each receive between $3 to $6 million for water treatment upgrades, while New Ulm is set to receive $4 million for sewer work.
Waseca will receive $10 million for work on its sewer and water tower systems as well, while Blue Earth and Mountain Lake receive $500,000 for general infrastructure.
Additionally, Redwood Falls will be among fund recipients, as it will receive $1.3 million for maintaining the Swayback Bridge.
With this newly signed bill, Minnesota has now passed a bonding bill in three of the last four legislative sessions.
