After serving six terms on the Faribault County Board of Commissioners, Commissioner Tom Loveall announced Tuesday he will not seek re-election this year.
Loveall made the announcement during the county board meeting, saying it was time to step away after years of public service. He called it a privilege and an honor to serve Faribault County residents and thanked voters for placing their trust in him over the years.
Loveall said being a commissioner gave him a special opportunity to give back to the County. Loveall added that it was just time for a change.
Loveall has represented District 4 on the County Board for more than two decades.
