Two Elmore residents are facing multiple drug, firearm and child endangerment charges following a search warrant executed by the Minnesota River Valley Drug Task Force earlier this month.
According to the criminal complaint, agents searched a home in Elmore on May 11th, where 35 year old Gildardo Gonzalez Jr., 37 year old Heather Lin Kwasniewski and a 4 year old child were present. Authorities allegedly found cocaine, methamphetamine, THC products and several firearms, including a shotgun, rifle and handgun, along with ammunition reportedly left in open areas accessible to the child.
Investigators say Gonzales is prohibited from possessing firearms due to a prior violent crime conviction. Both Gonzalez and Kwasniewski face felony drug charges, child endangerment and firearm related offenses.
Judge Troy Timmerman set Gonzalez’s bail at five thousand dollars cash with conditions, while Kwasniewski’s bail was set at $500 cash with conditions.
