United South Central Schools is reaching out to the public this spring as it explores potential updates to its facilities.
The district held its second community engagement meeting in February, drawing about 120 attendees. The meeting provided valuable insight on community needs, potential projects and the impacts on residents and taxpayers.
Building on the input, the district is preparing a survey that will be mailed to every resident in the USC District. The survey is intended to gather feedback from community members who were not able to attend the first two meetings and to better understand public priorities for the future of USC’s facilities.
The survey will also seek input on the possibility of a November Referendum. Residents can expect the survey to arrive in early April, helping the district plan future projects in alignment with community preferences.
