An Elmore man has been charged on two counts of dissemination and possession of pornographic works of minors younger than age 14.
Nineteen year old Tristan Aleman Hanson has been charged in Faribault County District Court following an investigation beginning September 11th when local investigators received a thumb drive from the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension containing files of child pornography connected to Hanson, according to the criminal complaint. The file was flagged by the messaging platform KIK and sent to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children before being sent to the BCA.
Investigators surveilled Hanson before eventually executing a warrant on September 26th. Hanson told authorities he had used KIK in the past few days and said he has not possessed or shared child pornography since June.
