The Blue Earth City Council met Monday to review project updates and take action on several resolutions.
City Engineer Ben Rosol updated the council on Blue Earth Light & Water’s West Industrial Park Expansion project and its pending application for an Innovative Business Development Public Infrastructure Grant. No action was taken, but survey work for the project will begin soon.
The council unanimously ratified the sale of $9.5 million in Electric Revenue Bonds to Blue Earth Light and Water and approved two property transactions, including the sale of a residential parcel at 926 Galbraith Street South to Jason and Stephanie Stine for $100 and a commercial parcel at 116 Sixth Street West to Paul More for $7,100.
Council members also designated City hall as the City’s new polling place.
