Blue Earth Council Approves the Employment Agreement for the New City Administrator

The Blue Earth City Council met Monday and went into a brief closed session for the City Administrator’s Employment Agreement.

The agreement with new City Administrator Dawn Collins was approved unanimously by the council and will be for three years from July 29^th, 2025 through July 28, 2028, with an annual starting salary of $126,000 and an increase of $4,000 each year after, contingent upon a satisfactory performance of job duties in each year prior.

Collins will be given a performance review on the six month anniversary date each year.

The city will also reimburse Collings for the cost of relocating to Minnesota, up to a maximum reimbursement amount of $5,000.

Collins officially begins her City Administrator duties on July 29^th.
