A Fairmont woman was injured in a two vehicle accident Monday afternoon on Highway 169, near Lake Crystal.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, at approximately 2:45pm, a 2008 Volvo S60 driven by 71 year old Shelia Supalla of Fairmont was traveling southbound on US Highway 169 and a 2016 Subaru Forester driven by 24 year old Rebekah Gray of Arizona was attempting to turn onto the Highway 60 detour when the two vehicles collided.
Supalla was taken to Mayo Clinic Hospital in Mankato with non life threatening injuries. Gray and a passenger in the Subaru, 22 year old Emma Hanson of Worthington, were not injured.
The Lake Crystal Fire Department, Lake Crystal Ambulance and the Blue Earth County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
