The Faribault County Farm Service Agency says its Farmer Bridge Assistance Program is off to a strong start.
Faribault County FSA Director Nicki Miranowski says the program launched last Monday and more than 60% of eligible applications in the county have already been processed and approved. The sign up process takes about 5-10 minutes and is based on producers’ 2025 crop year acreage reports, with information prefilled in the system.
Producers can apply in person at the office, online through farmers.gov using a login.gov account, or by securely signing documents sent through Box email. Once approved, payments are typically deposited within two to three business days. The deadline to apply is April 17th.
