Several area high schools have announced their senior recipients of the Minnesota State High School League’s Triple A Award, recognizing involvement in academics, arts and athletics.
At Granada-Huntley-East Chain, seniors Kayla Mattson and Reagan Emmert were selected. Mattson is involved in music programs, theater and multiple sports and plans to attend the University of Sioux Falls to study nursing. Emmert participates in band, choir, theater and multiple sports and plans to attend the University of Northwestern – St. Paul.
Fairmont High School selected Belinda Lutterman and Cooper Gudahl. Lutterman is involved in music, theater, dance and student leadership and plans to attend the University of St. Thomas. Gudahl participates in music, theater, running sports and student leadership and is considering St. Olaf College.
Martin Luther High School named Elliot Flohrs and Ava Rathman. Flohrs is active in band, athletic, student leadership and community service and plans to attend Southeast Technical College in Sioux Falls. Rathman participates in choir, volleyball and leadership activities and plans to pursue a career in sonography.
