A Winnebago Woman was injured in a one vehicle accident Monday morning in Nicollet County.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol at approximately 10:01am, a 2024 Dodge Ram driven by 52 year old Elizabeth Ann Shavey of Winnebago was traveling northbound on a snow and ice covered Highway 169 in Lake Prairie Township, when it left the roadway and went into some trees.
Shavey’s passenger, 78 year old Judith Ann Johnson suffered non life threatening injuries and was take to River’s Edge Hospital in St. Peter.
Both women were wearing their seatbelts.
The Nicollet County Sheriff’s Office and Allina Ambulance assisted at the scene.
