Minnesota has been recognized as one of the top states for jobs, placing third overall in a new WalletHub report.
Governor Tim Walz says the state excelled in categories such as median annual income, economic environment and job market.
The report highlighted Minnesota’s median household income of $86,000, adjusted for the cost of living, as one of the highest in the country. Additionally, the state is in the top ten for private health insurance coverage and access to employer based retirement plans, with a low unemployment rate of 3.6%.
Minnesota was also named the fifth best state for working parents. Walz noted these accolades reflect the state’s strong economy and high quality of life.
