The Faribault County Board of Commissioners met on Tuesday and one of the items on the agenda was considering some safety and security upgrades to the 6th Street building in Blue Earth.
Commissioner Bruce Anderson says the upgrades are needed to make use of the open office space at the old City Hall building. The County EDA has already moved into the space and the County is looking at moving Veterans Services into the buildings as well.
The Board approved taking just over $15,000 from the general fund to pay for the safety and security upgrades.
