A 22 year old Vernon Center man sustained life threatening injuries in a motorcycle crash Saturday afternoon, just north of Vernon Center, according to the State Patrol.
Alexander Michael Sullivan was transported to Saint Mary’s Hospital for treatment.
The crash happened around 12:46pm on Highway 169 south. Authorities say Sullivan was driving a Yamaha Cruiser northbound when he lost control of the bike and was ejected.
The State Patrol confirmed he was not wearing a helmet.
The Blue Earth County Sheriff’s Office, Mapleton-Amboy Police Department, Vernon Center Fire Department and Lake Crystal Ambulance assisted at the scene.
