The USDA’s National Agricultural Statistics Service released the crop progress report for Minnesota and Iowa for the week ending July 27th.
Minnesota corn silking reached 77%, 8% of corn has reached dough stage across the state. Corn condition was rated 74% good to excellent, a 3% decline from a week ago.
Corn in Iowa silking reached 84% and 34% of Iowa’s corn reached the dough stage. Corn condition was rated 87% good to excellent, a 1% improvement from last week.
Minnesota soybean blooming reached 77%. Soybeans setting pods was at 36% and Soybean condition was rated 71% good to excellent, a 4% decline from last week.
Soybeans in Iowa blooming reached 81%, with 52% of soybeans setting pods. Soybean condition was rated 82% good to excellent, a 2%z increase from last week.
