Tornadoes were spotted across southern Minnesota on Wednesday afternoon, according to the National Weather Service.
At 4:37pm, NWS posted a report of a tornado on the intersection of 310th Street and 685th Avenue, outside of Hartland. There were multiple reports of a tornado southwest of alden at 4:07pm and a tornado over Freeborn Lake at 4:03pm was reported in Freeborn County. A barn and shed in the area sustained damage, according to the reports.
Law enforcement also spotted a tornado 2 miles west, southwest of Ellendale in Steele County at 4:44pm.
