Dawn Collins Has Accepted the City of Blue Earth’s Offer to be the New City Administrator

The City of Blue Earth has a new City Administrator as the City Council has offered the position to Dawn Collins, who is the current Town Administrator of Plamer Lake, Colorado.

Collins has accepted the city’s offer, contingent upon final review of a complete employment agreement and final approval by the City Council, which is scheduled for the Monday, June 16^th City Council meeting.

Collings, who has over 14 years of experience in municipal leadership, is a certified municipal clerk, with demonstrated success in budget management, community engagement and intergovernmental collaboration across municipalities ranging from 3,000 to 75,000 residents.

Collins’ official state date will be July 29^th.

With City Council approval, Collins looks to contact staff for various material, information and reviewing documents and collaborating with staff to become familiar projects and city issues, in the interim.
