A Winnebago teen was injured in a one vehicle accident north of Blue Earth on Wednesday morning.
According to the Faribault County Sheriff’s Office, at approximately 7am, a 2007 Audi A4, driven by 18 year old Kemper Amundson of rural Winnebago was eastbound on County Road 8, approaching County Road 6, when the vehicle went through the T intersection and struck the double arrow sign. The vehicle then rolled end for end, coming to rest on its wheels.
Amundson was taken by personal vehicle to UHD ER, where it was discovered that he sustained two compression fractures in his back.
Amundson was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
