An 11 year old Mapleton boy was stuck by a car Thursday afternoon as he was walking in Mapleton.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, at approximately 3:19pm the boy was walking near Highway 30, when he was hit by a westbound Toyota Camry driven by a 17 year old unidentified female driver who lost control on the icy/snow covered road.
The unidentified boy was treated at the scene for non life threatening injuries.
Blue Earth County Sheriff’s Office, Mapleton Police Department, Mapleton Fire Department and Mayo Ambulance assisted at the scene.
