A Fairmont woman was injured when she collided with a deer on I-90 Friday morning. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, at approximately 10:38am, a 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix, driven by 72 year old Sierra Bea Whitehead, was traveling westbound on I-90, when she struck a deer east of the Fairmont exit, entered the median and rolled.
Whitehead was taken to Mayo Clinic Health System in Fairmont with non life threatening injuries.
The Martin County Sheriff’s Office and Martin County Ambulance Service assisted at the scene.
